Group Exercise class descriptions

Beginner Functional Fitness: Your muscular strength and endurance will be tested when combined with functional fitness movements. This is is a high-intensity workout that is challenging and fells like you are training one on one with a private trainer. This class is great for ALL fitness levels. 

Body Pump:  Les Mills Body Pump Class is a high-rep, low weight barbell exercise program.  Body Pump is a full-body workout that will burn calories, shape and tone the entire body, increase core strength and improve bone health.

 Functional Fitness- A high intensity class using the basic exercises of Functional Fitness. Meets in the Fitness Center.

Silver Sneakers:  (Muscular strength and Range of Motion)  Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of motion and activities of daily living.

TAI CHI: A graceful form of exercise that brings serentiy and relief using gentle, flowing movement. 

Yoga: Hatha Yoga uses breathing, relaxation and meditation to harmonize the mind, body and spirit.   (B/I)
Zumba: A mixture of low and high intensity moves that burn calories in a fun way! It won’t even seem like your working out as you dance your way into achieving your fitness goals. Zumba combines muscle conditioning, cardio, balance, and 
flexibility to raise your energy level and make your feel like you just walked into one awesome dance party! (B/I)

 

lasses are 55 minutes in length (Unless otherwise stated)

  • Participants must be at least 13 years old and actively participate in the class.
  • Please do not use cell phones during class.
  • Please be aware of your fitness level and do not over exert yourself.
