Welcome Center/Member Services

The Fairgrounds YMCA is seeking additional staff for our Welcome Center. 

Summary/Objective

The front desk performs routine clerical and administrative work in answering telephones, greeting members, assisting members with membership, changes, and enrolling in programs. 

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Develops and maintains office forms and procedures, and assists with administrative tasks.
  2. Answers telephones and directs calls accordingly.
  3. Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; respond to inquiries.
  4. Operates with YMCA computer software.
  5. Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
  6. Duplicates and distributes materials.
  7. Other Duties

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a Part-time position. Must be available to work some Days, Nights and Weekends
